Mostly-retired, Charlene works to promote the learning of in adults in schools, seeking ways to help educators discover how technology can be used to amplify students' creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills.
 

As the Creativity and Innovation Specialist for Mobile Pedagogy at Aptakisic-Tripp District 102 in Buffalo Grove, IL, from 2012-2018, Charlene supported the teachers and students participating in the 1:1 iPad Program as part of the District's Personal Technology Initiative.

For more than 16 years Charlene served as the
Technology Training and Integration Manager at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL. She has presented numerous sessions at national, state and local education conferences, and is a member at large of the IDEA Northern Suburbs Chapter (IDEA-NS) executive board.

Charlene also has a keen interest in the future of digital publishing, and has provided presentations, workshops and seminars on techniques for creating digital publications. She blogs occasionally at the Future of the Book and Educating Educators.
